3 Tips for Better Breathing…

A Helpful Listen Before You Join

12 Min Reset Breathwork Replay

Today’s 12-Minute Breathwork Reset is designed to gently deepen your breath so that longer breath patterns like 4-7-8 breathing, feel more accessible and easeful rather than forced.

We begin with a few different breath modalities to open the lungs and nervous system. At any point during the practice, if you notice strain or effort creeping in, please return to your natural breath. There is no rush. You can always rejoin when and if your body feels ready. This is a practice of ease, not force; your breath will deepen naturally with patience and consistency.

In today’s session, we start with Breath of Fire to awaken the system, followed by slow breathing at 5 breaths per minute to calm and regulate the nervous system. From there, we gradually ease into 4-7-8 breathing by first practicing 2-5-6, and then moving into the full 4-7-8 pattern—inhaling for 4, holding for 7, and exhaling for 8. This step-by-step approach allows the body to adapt without tension.

12-Minute Reset Archive

In this session, we moved through three complementary breath modalities designed to balance, regulate, and energize the entire nervous system. We began with Stacked Inhales, a gentle two-part inhale followed by a long sigh that quickly calms stress, reopens the lungs, and releases emotional tension. Then shifted into Coherent Breathing, a smooth 5–6 second inhale and exhale pattern that creates heart–brain synchrony, increases clarity, and grounds the mind and body into a state of deep balance. We finished with Tummo Breathwork, an activating, heat-building technique that boosts energy, strengthens the diaphragm, and awakens inner vitality.

Today’s session is introduction to 3 different breathwork modalities to activate heat and the diaphragm, open the heart and then Coherent breathing to deepen your breath.

This session introduces you to layered breathwork, humming breath, and AH breath. Humming and AH breathing use sound vibration to stimulate different areas of the body, helping release tension, calm the mind, and create a deeper sense of internal connection. Give it a try and notice how it makes you feel.

In today’s session, we focus on coherent breathing, a powerful breathwork technique where you inhale for 5 counts and exhale for 5 counts. Before we settle into the 5-5 rhythm, we gently open and deepen the breath into the lower lungs, side ribs, and back body. This prepares your system to breathe more fully and comfortably, making slow, steady breathing effortless.

After about five minutes of coherent breathing, many people feel a noticeable shift; deep relaxation, mental clarity, emotional ease, and a calmer nervous system. Take a moment afterward to notice how your body feels. Subtle changes can create big transformation.

In this session, we practiced Tummo breathwork, rebirthing breathwork, and the “Ahh” breath; all designed to quiet the mind, release tension, and bring a deep sense of peace and grounding to the body and nervous system.

Today’s session is focused on healing the heart. We begin by opening the diaphragm to create more space and ease in the breath, then gently bring awareness and breath into the heart area. From there, we move into a deeper, rhythmic breathing pattern to help clear stored energy and tension, finishing with a heart-centered breath to support emotional healing and balance, and inner calm. I encourage you to practice this session as often as you can.

This session is designed to help you drop into a deep state of relaxation by first working through the body, not just the mind.

I’ve found that when breathwork is combined with gentle self-massage—especially in areas where we unconsciously hold tension like the jaw, neck, and under the ribcage—the nervous system softens much more quickly. This combination allows the brain to shift into slower, more restorative brainwave states with greater ease.  In this session, we will:

  • Begin with gentle self-massage to release stored tension in the body
  • Practice slow breathing with a 4-count inhale and a 6-count exhale using puckered lips to stimulate relaxation
  • Finish with left-nostril breathing, a powerful technique for calming the nervous system and supporting deep rest

This is an ideal practice if you’re feeling overstimulated, tense, emotionally full, or simply in need of grounding and nervous system regulation

In today’s practice, I shared eye exercises combined with gentle movement and breathwork to release tension not only around the eyes, but throughout the mind and nervous system.

I was originally drawn to learning more about breathwork and eye exercises because a family member has severe glaucoma, and I wanted to understand how breath and awareness might help. But as I began practicing these techniques myself, I realized just how much tension I was holding around my eyes and how much relief I felt afterward.

During a particularly stressful time in my life, I noticed one eye was noticeably larger than the other, which is a clear sign that the nervous system is out of balance. Through these practices, my eyes gradually returned to balance.
